During my transit stay at The Box House Hotel, I appreciated the convenient access to the 7 Train, just a short walk away, which provided a quick and easy transportation option to Grand Central Station in only one stop. being within walking distance of 21st Street made it convenient for exploring the local area and accessing nearby amenities.

One minor inconvenience during my stay was the inconsistent Wi-Fi, which was frustrating as it only worked for brief moments before cutting out completely. While it didn't greatly impact my stay, it could have been problematic for those requiring reliable internet access for work or other purposes.

The dining scene at The Box House is straight-up fire! Grilled delights that'll make your taste buds do the salsa. Comfy beds and charming decor tick all the boxes. Free taxi rides from Newark Airport? That's a baller move!

The ant situation was a cringeworthy start, and the gym turned into a mini circus. But hey, the staff was MIA for the ant relocation act.

My friends and I had the best time exploring the trendy art galleries and music venues nearby. Plus, the modern kitchen and free extras like bottled water and cool fitness center access made our stay even more awesome. The free local shuttles were a lifesaver for getting around easily!

We just wished the hotel offered some late-night snacks or food options for us party-going teens to grab after a night out. That would have been the icing on the cake for our stay!

I chose to stay at Box House specifically to visit MoMA PS1, and I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and hospitality provided by the team. The renowned chefs' savory meals served in a refined and vibrant environment were a delightful addition to my stay.

Misleading information about kitchenette.

I adored the charming decor of the hotel, with its beautiful wooden floors and delightful vintage touches that made me feel right at home. The spacious and well-furnished room was perfect for a senior like me, and I appreciated the hotel's accessibility and environmental-friendly features. The free parking space was a huge relief, and the staff, including Keresha who provided considerate service, made my stay even more delightful.

I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people if the shower head could be unhooked for easier hair washing.

The Box House Hotel offers contemporary lofts and suites with large windows providing natural light and views of Midtown Manhattan. I particularly enjoyed the separate sleeping areas, offering privacy and quietness in the rooms. the hotel's eclectic decor creates an artistic ambiance.

Some minor maintenance issues, such as a lack of blackout shades in overly bright rooms, some non-functional amenities, and a shortage of towels were noticeable. However, these were promptly addressed by the attentive staff.

the box house was terrific value and spotless. the location was convenient to exploring different areas and getting to midtown manhattan. the free shuttle and friendly staff made getting around hassle-free. and the local insights were a bonus.

The staff's kind help with my old parents left a lasting impression. With Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, fitness centre, and more. Plus, it's smoke-free, air-conditioned, and has a kitchenette - everything I need.

A pleasant surprise was the shuttle service, which was in a 1970s checker cab. It felt like a blast from the past, and the driver provided great local tips during the short ride to the subway. It added a fun, quirky element to our commute.

I had 7 nights in New York City, spending my time here lovely. Generally everything was nice, however the bathroom was very small.

The manager went above and beyond to make up for an issue caused by another group. Excellent customer service. The room was clean and fresh, with a great workout area. Friendly cleaning staff and excellent location. I recommend this hotel.

By and large, it was brilliant place for sightseeing in New York City, had much fun.

In my wife's opinion, having a small playground or play area for children on-site would have been a nice addition for families.

Perfect and overall clean place with a beautiful lobby. Fashionable, spotless room with the bedroom on the same floor as the lounge, everything was very clean. Liked the attached restaurant in the hotel bar area. Food was fabulous and I have nothing but real good memories from this trip.

We liked this place because of the location, situated in a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city. The lofts and suites at The Box House Hotel had a homely feel with a touch of Ikea-cool, which I adored. The natural oak hardwood floors, bright colors, and large windows made me feel right at home. The kitchenettes were a huge plus for making my own meals.

I had a fantastic stay at Box House! The room was spacious and tastefully appointed, with a big wall desk and comfortable chairs. The bathroom was larger than expected and had ample counter space. The staff at the front desk and door were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was very clean and renovated, and it was conveniently located within walking distance to subway and ferry services. I also appreciated the free shuttle service and the functional kitchen in the room. it was a great experience!

The hotel is very pleasant and warm. The room was spotless. Impeccable cleanliness. The kitchen is very convenient for breakfast and light dinner. The coffee is restocked every day. Laundry room in the hotel with washing machine and dryer. The location is very good. There is a bridge to cross with a superb view of Manhattan and then the subway just after. Arrival at Time Square in twenty minutes door to door. We only used the free shuttle for the last day with our suitcases because we preferred to enjoy the view of the bridge. Some nice little restaurants near the subway entrance. In short, ideal to visit nyc with the family during 11 days.

only negative point is the lack of light in the room. Indeed, room looked onto the inside of the hotel, so the light came only from two skylights. did not really bother us because of the season and little time spent in the room during the day. There are a lot of rooms that look outwards so don't hesitate to ask for them when you book.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Box House Hotel! The staff were incredibly happy and helpful, especially Christian, the hotel driver. Christian's positive and energetic personality made every ride with him a delightful experience. The hotel itself was clean, hip, and priced right. The location was perfect, with easy access to the airport and train. I also appreciated the nice touches like the delicious chocolate and water provided. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.

During my recent business trip to New York, my director chose the Box House Hotel for our stay, and I must say, it was a pleasant experience. The fitness center with funky mirrors, dry sauna, steam showers, and laundry facilities on the first level made it convenient to stay active and refreshed. The funky mirrors added a unique touch to the fitness center, and the steam showers were a great way to relax after a long day of meetings. Plus, having laundry facilities on-site was a lifesaver, allowing me to pack light and take care of laundry as needed.

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the coffee maker in the room only having polystyrene cups, which I found a bit outdated.

The apartment

We rented an apartment and there was no elevator

They upgraded the accommodations we had hired as a courtesy. We stayed in an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen that was cleaned daily. Very quiet. Safe and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn. There is a free shuttle service 1 mile away. They gave us a 50% discount on drinks for the bar. Well connected to Manhattan

Not very ecological: they left the light on in the room after cleaning, they changed the plastic bags daily even if they were almost empty

Unique art deco style and complimentary amenities added a special touch. Reliable and knowledgeable drivers for free transportation.

Tasteful, clean hotel with nice and helpful service. There is a restaurant with tasty dishes, water. The rooms are cleaned daily. There is a coffee maker and a kettle in the room and a tea and coffee set that is filled every day. From the windows, nice views of Queens and Manhattan. The hotel has an interesting location in the former industrial part of Greenpoint, about 10 minutes to the metro station, near the Pulawski Bridge. In the lobby there are two computers with an additional intet connection. This was very useful when the usual wifi and telephone system was not working.

I had bad luck and during my 3-day stay, internet connection and car-shuttle broke down. It was soon after the snowstorm and record cold in New York. I wouldn't take it seriously.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was sparkling every day thanks to the cleaning service. It is a quiet and cozy hotel with a supermarket nearby.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and half broken. The heating was working well but it only heated the upper part so it was always cold in the lower part.

The stay was like coming back to my uni days, but with gourmet meals and chic vibes. A taxi ride to a subway felt like a time travel stint, and the view of Manhattan from my loft made me feel like I had landed in a movie scene. The quirky checker cabs at the entrance added a cool touch. The fitness center was so funky, I almost forgot I was actually exercising. A little far from Subway

I recently stayed at Box House and it was a fantastic experience. The 1 bedroom with balcony and city view was perfect for us - the room felt airy and cosy, with a great layout that made us feel at home straight away. The balcony offered a partial view of Manhattan, which was especially beautiful at night. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk. The easy journey to central New York was a huge plus, with just one stop on the subway or a quick 5-minute ride in the complimentary hotel taxi. a great stay at Box House!

We spent 8 nights and it was really comfortable to stay there. room was very comfortable, quiet and very nice. It has a fridge, kettle and a coffee maker. spacious bathroom and room too. cozy. After the long walks to know NY we have managed to rest comfortably every night. staff is super attentive and in the hotel restaurant you can eat very well at a price that is totally recommendable compared to other restaurants in Manhattan. It has a gym and sauna.

To make a point, even though it is not located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, you simply have to cross the Pulaski Bridge, which has a pedestrian area, another bike path and another for traffic, within 10 minutes. The subway station is just a few meters away, so it is worth staying in Brooklyn, where the hotel is located, since for quality and price you cannot find this accommodation in Manhattan. So more than a no, it's a success!

Couldn't fault.

The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. The room and bed were amazing, and the shuttle service was readily available. The location, although looking rough and ready, was super safe and convenient. The staff, including a pretty Spanish girl and a phenomenal handsome young man, made our stay great. The rooftop experience was also sublime.

The quality/price ratio of the rooms remains correct considering the surface area and comfort. Subway station close enough to reach Manhattan in two or three stations.

The price of breakfast remains quite high, we preferred to take it in Manhattan.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, well lit and decorated. The bathroom was always clean, with towels. Refrigerator available to leave food and drinks and a coffee maker.

The only "inconvenience" was the location, but it is well resolved with the transfer service they offer to the nearest Metro stations that take you everywhere. It's important to take a phone with you to call your hotel to ask them to pick you up at the station where you were dropped off or some other place nearby.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room is spacious and has a modern design, with remarkable articles and decorative objects. Very good arrangement of furniture and a well equipped kitchen. It is a very good recycling.

We were charged for our stay in advance the night we arrived, was not in the offer (it would have been a serious problem if you wanted to change hotels). That's even though the first night was already paid for in the reservation. On the other hand. although there is a good idea to shorten the distance to Manhattan with our own vehicles available to get you within a mile (subway included), we wanted to use it we had to wait 25 minutes, We walked: 15 minutes to the subway and same time to a central station. Nothing supplements "being" in Manhattan. fare does not fully account for that. the surroundings are not interesting.

The rooms at this hotel were incredibly spacious, giving off a cozy Airbnb vibe with all the advantages of a hotel. Additionally, the shuttle service to and from the main street was a helpful perk, especially when we were tired from walking around. The location of the hotel was also great, with plenty of local restaurants nearby and convenient access to various attractions.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. Although we were promptly moved to a different room, we were not offered any discount or compensation for the inconvenience.

I had chosen an apartment hotel seen on Manhattan and first room allocated, we had seen on a bridge... we were placed after several claims in another room for the last 3 nights with a nice view. We enjoyed the apartments. error may be due to an inconsistency between you and them. There was a missing baking tray to use the oven, that's a detail...
